What does ParkInTown actually do for my parking?
We turn your parking into a smart, automated business. Cameras read every license plate at entry and exit, drivers pay through our app or a card terminal, and you watch every transaction on a live dashboard from your phone or laptop. No tickets, no cash boxes, no chasing customers.
How much does it cost me to start?
Zero upfront. No license fees, no platform fee, no equipment to buy. You only pay 0.50€ per parking session, and only when a driver actually pays. If your lot is empty that day, you owe us nothing.
How do drivers pay?
Two ways. Through the ParkInTown mobile app on their phone, or by tapping a contactless card or phone on a small terminal we install at your gate. The money goes straight to your account, and you stop losing customers who do not carry cash.
What if a driver does not have the app?
They can still park. The card terminal at your entry accepts any contactless card or phone, no download needed. They just tap and go.
How long does the installation take?
If your parking already has a barrier, power and internet, we can be up and running in 2 to 4 hours. If not, a full setup is about 4 working days: site survey, configuration, on-site install, then testing and go-live. We handle permits, civil works and electrical, you just unlock the door.
Do I need to remove my existing barriers?
No. In most cases the cameras replace the need for barriers and traffic flows smoother. If you prefer to keep them for security, we integrate so they open automatically for paying drivers.
Can I see what is happening at my parking in real time?
Yes. Your dashboard shows live occupancy, every transaction as it happens, daily and monthly revenue, busiest hours, and how each space is performing. Open it from your phone, tablet or laptop, anywhere in the world.
Can I set different prices for different days or hours?
Yes. Charge more at peak hours, less at night, free for the first 15 minutes, a flat day rate, whatever fits your customers. You change it from the dashboard in seconds. Operators using variable pricing typically see 15 to 20% more revenue.
How do I handle my monthly or yearly subscribers?
The system manages them automatically. You add the subscriber, set the dates and the rate, and the cameras let them in without any payment step. Renewals are automatic, expired subscriptions are blocked at the gate, and you get notified. Zero admin time after the first setup.
What if something breaks at night or on a Sunday?
We watch the system 24/7. If a camera or terminal goes offline, our team is alerted and acts before you notice. You have a direct line to support and a Cyprus-based engineer can be on site the same day if needed. You operate, we keep it running.
